Highlights: The Landsborough Valley, situated on the southern West Coast of the South Island, is one of New Zealand's most isolated specially protected wilderness areas – untouched, unspoiled, visited by only a privileged few. This is one of those New Zealand adventures you will never forget.
On this multi day wilderness adventure you will raft silently down the Landsborough River as it flows from high alpine areas of the Mt Cook National Park to the Haast River in South Westland.
Day 1: Depart Queenstown by coach. Travel past picturesque Lake Wanaka to Burke's Flat. Transfer by helicopter or fixed wing to Toe Toe Flat. Set up camp. Enjoy bush walks and relaxing in magnificent surroundings.
Day 2: Start by learning basic rafting skills before moving on to white water and Grade 2 - 4+ rapids. Also enjoy gliding past glaciers, 10,000 ft mountains and dense rainforests. Overnight camp at Harper's Bluff.
Day 3: Continue rafting down the Landsborough River experiencing white-water and pristine wilderness. Reach the take out then transfer by coach to Queenstown.
