Day 1: Start day by exploring Christchurch and Lyttelton, travel to Fairlie and spend the night hosted by a local farming family.
Day 2: Travel to Mount Cook National Park, then do a walk up the Hooker Valley. Finish the day in Queenstown.
Day 3: A free day to enjoy the many activities on offer in Queenstown.
Day 4: Cross through the Haast Pass. Jet boat on the Waiatoto River into Mt Aspiring National Park. In the evening visit Lake Matheson and stay in the town of Fox Glacier.
Day 5: Enjoy a 3 hour walk on the Fox Glacier. Visit Punakaiki Pancake Rocks.
Day 6: Cave rafting on the West Coast then travel on to Nelson.
Day 7: Experience the sounds by kayak. Take a water taxi to Lochmara Lodge in Queen Charlotte Sound.
Day 8: Follow the Queen Charlotte Walkway.
Day 9: Take the water taxi back to Picton. Cook Straight Ferry to Wellington.
Day 10: Spend most of the day exploring Wellington.
Day 11: Raft the Rangitikei River then to Rotorua. Crater of the moon thermal area.
Day 12: Visit the active volcano, White Island. Return to Rotorua for a Maori concert and feast.
Day 13: Rotorua Bathhouse in the morning. This afternoon drive 4 x 4 vehicles.
Day 14: Sail on Auckland's Waitemata Harbour while enjoying a late breakfast. End the trip in Auckland central around lunchtime.
