Walking or sports shoes required. Parts of the tracks are uneven.

Close & Convenient
The Christchurch Gondola Base Station is located in the Heathcote Valley, just 15 minutes drive from downtown Christchurch. There is plenty of free parking for cars, motorhomes and coaches.

Best Attractions Bus Shuttle
Those without a vehicle may board the Best Attractions express shuttle. It departs from the Cathedral Square and arrives at the Gondola Base Station. $6.50 per person for the return sector.

Public Bus
Another option is the City Bus services:
1) No 28 Lyttelton - departs Bus Exchange, opposite Ballantynes.
2) No 35 Heathcote - departs inside Bus Exchange.
Both depart every 15mins and are $2.50pp for a 2 hr return ticket.
