Built in 1916, this Edwardian Mansion has been lovingly restored to provide six ensuite guestrooms including the Queen's Suite with its private lounge. Dorothy's Boutique Hotel still features the original Gothic-style doorways, red brick and Banks Peninsula volcanic rock.

Surrounded by rare antique furniture and works of art, Dorothy's is the perfect accommodation for people wishing to explore the central city and surroundings being located close to all the major city attractions including the Convention Centre, Canterbury Museum and Botanical Gardens. Dorothy's Boutique Hotel's Christchurch Restaurant features 100% pure New Zealand hospitality and fresh Canterbury produce - freshly prepared each day. The fully licensed Rainbow Bar supplies award-winning New Zealand wines and is decorated in the Wizard of Oz theme, featuring memorabilia from the movie from which Dorothy's takes its name.
