If you're short on time, this single day trip includes all the options available at Abel Tasman.
Beginning with a guided half-day kayak trip, your guide will introduce you to safe paddling techniques and settle you into a stable double kayak. Then, head out on the water and have fun!
The kayaking is suitable for families and first time paddlers. You will explore the spectacular Kaiteriteri coastline with golden beaches and sculpted granite features.
Check in with us at 9:10am and prepare to be introduced to safe paddling techniques by your guide. Head out onto the water to explore around the famous "Split Apple Rock". Stop on a golden sand beach for a short break, then return to Kaiteriteri by 12 noon.
Swap your kayak for walking shoes and hop on board the 1:00pm Vista Cruise to the golden sands of Onetahuti, visiting the fascinating seal colony at Tonga Island on the way.
Disembark at 2:00pm and enjoy an unguided walk of approximately 1.5 hours to Bark Bay.
At 4:45, rejoin the Vista Cruise at Medlands Beach to cruise back to Kaiteriteri, arriving at 5:45pm.
Stay in Kaiteriteri for a celebratory drink or meal, or catch the connecting bus to Motueka or Nelson.
